MEET ERIN
Co-Founder and Head Coach
Hi, I’m Erin, the founder and head coach at Not Just a Phase Running. And I hated running for most of my life. I dreaded the mile run my entire childhood. I once skipped a lap of the mile run and faked it because I couldn’t think of anything worse than having to run one more lap around the track. My preferred form of movement during my 20s was “none at all.”
Enter a moment of inspiration at the 2022 Chicago Marathon, working a charity team event, and this running-hater signed herself up for the next year’s 26.2. Through a year of hard training, many mistakes, and more skipped runs than I’d like to admit, I slowly found the joy in running.
I am a certified running coach and two-time marathoner. I consider success as a coach to be ensuring that you can - and want to - keep lacing up your shoes and showing up for yourself for the long haul.
